Fashionably "Momed"




Hi! It's me, Flannery! Here to fill you in on the little "project" I've been working on all summer (since November actually!) Her name is Vivienne Lee and she's amazing! And in true Fashionably Bombed form, I bought myself a vintage bottle of Dom Perignon to celebrate her arrival! Don't worry, this won't turn into a "Mommy" blog (that's a future project!) but we thought it was important to share why we've been off the radar for these last few months! We are never happy about the end of summer and we absolutely refuse to put our bright colors and prints away. The only thing that keeps us going is planning our winter Palm Springs getaway! And what says "Eff you winter!" better than a Fabulousi-tini on the rocks? Oh, I know! A gorge rocks holder from Trina Turk!

New Beginnings

As you may have noticed, we took a little break from blogging this summer.  We've had some pretty exciting life changes happen and we'll fill you in on all the details later this week, but to sum it up: Flannery had a baby and Katherine moved to Los Angeles!  Here's to new beginnings!

Sutter Home Cocktail Contest Winner!


We are so excited to have partnered up with Sutter Home to pick the winner of their most recent wine cocktail contest! There were so many tasty entries that it wasn't easy to choose, but we did it and the winning cocktail is DELICIOUS!!! We had a blast making this video because we not only got to announce the winner, but we also got to celebrate Women's Friendship Day with several of our friends from around the world! So without any further ado...
 


Melon Reverie by Karen Kuebler

6 cups seedless watermelon cubes
1 cup canteloupe cubes
1/3 cup fresh mint leaves (reserve several sprigs for garnish)
Juice of 1 lime
6 cups Sutter Home Bubbly Moscato, chilled

Place melon cubes, mint leaves, and lime juice in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Stir in Bubbly Moscato. Garnish each glass with a mint sprig. 

Alternatively, you can scoop melon into balls and add them to a champagne glass, add a squeeze of lime and chopped mint and top with Bubbly Moscato.
