Last year we invented this super tasty cocktail, the Flowerbomb , in honor of our mumsy! She is passionate about roses and the color pink, so we whipped up a rose flavored pink concoction and we thought we did quite well! The cocktail was named after one of our favorite fragrances, Flowerbomb, by Viktor & Rolf, and when we saw this floral pink dress by Marc Jacobs, we knew they all three had to go together! Happy Mother's Day to all the mums out there! Cheers!

As you saw in last week's Taste Test Tuesday post, we weren't exactly huge fans of the Mexican chili covered lollipops that we tried. This time, however, Mexico redeemed itself with some surprisingly tasty treats!
de la Rosa: This is a tasty little peanut marzipan confection, that just needed a taaaaad more salt!
Canel's: Anyone who's been to Mexico has probably been talked into buying at least a few packages of this ubiquitous chicle. It's fun to eat and comes in lots of interesting flavors. We quite enjoyed the blueberry, spearmint, peppermint and tutti frutti. That being said, the violet flavor made us want to gag, it's like eating your grandma's soap!
El Guapo: These shiny coins are filled with bubblegum! Now you can make it rain...Willy Wonka style! Score! Unfortunately, though, they look better than they taste.
Overall, this was a much tastier experience than last time! ¡Qué viva México!

1 tea bag
In a medium sauce pan, bring water to a boil. Add tapioca pearls and stir. Turn to low heat and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Strain tapioca pearls and cover with Honey Simple Syrup. Let cool for at least 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, bring water, tea and mint leaves to a boil. Once cooled, stir in lemon juice, honey and vodka. Adjust sweetness to taste! Add pre-cooked Tapioca balls to the bottom of a tall glass and pour tea mixture over ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint. Enjoy!

Our Cilantro & Jalapeño variety is one of our tastiest and most festive creations ever! It also doesn't hurt that it's a gorgeous shade of green! And who doesn't love Mexican short shorts and skull earrings??? Now go practice your grito!

Who's ready for Cinco de Mayo??? We are, especially now that we found this chic Mexican inspired tote by House of Holland! There's more than enough room in there for a bottle of tequila, a few limes and some triple sec! Now let's get this pachanga started!
