Strawberry-Banana Bubble Tea!

As you know we've been on a serious Asian kick recently, and today's Taiwanese treat is no exception! We invented this recipe by combining our favorite things from several Bubble Tea recipes!

Strawberry-Banana Bubble Tea 

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup coconut milk
2 ounces rum (If you're in the mood to get Fashionably Bombed!)

For Tapioca Pearls:
5 cups water
1/2 cup tapioca pearls
2 tablespoons maple syrup

In a medium sauce pan, bring water to a boil.  Add tapioca pearls and stir.  Turn to low heat and continue to cook for 5 minutes.  Strain tapioca pearls and cover with maple syrup.  Let cool for at least 15 minutes.  Meanwhile add strawberries, banana, coconut and rum (optional!) to a blender.  Blend until smooth.  Add tapioca pearls to the bottom of a glass and add strawberry-banana mixture.  How do you sa, "YUM!" in Taiwanese???
