Flashback Friday: Guns N' Rose Water Mojito

At this time last year we were honoring one of our all-time favorite bands, Guns N' Roses! Because citrus is in season and this recipe is so delicious, we thought it was worth sharing again! Oh, and there's always the fabulous photo shoot that went along with it!!!


Guns N' Rose Water Mojito

Makes 1

2 ounces gold or dark rum (We used Appleton Estate Reserve)
1 ounce freshly squeezed blood orange juice
1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 ounce simple syrup
10 mint leaves
2-3 drops of rose water
1 blood orange slice
Blood orange zest
Club soda

Combine blood orange juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, rose water, blood orange slice and mint leaves in a highball glass.  Muddle ingredients together. Add rum and stir. Add ice and top off with club soda. Garnish with a sprinkling of blood orange zest!
