Orange You Glad I'm a Conversation Heart Martini?

Knock, Knock!  Who's there?  Fashionably Bombed!  And we're high on sugar and covered in booze.  And we do it all for YOU!  Because "we would do anything for love...but we won't do that!"

Wait! We're confused! What, exactly, wouldn't Meatloaf do? But we digress...Conversation Hearts are a Valentine's Day staple, and if you know anything about us, you know that we heart candy (remember the Reese's Peanut-Tini?) So, of course, we HAD to make a drink out of them. And how does one incorporate these chalky confections into a cocktail?  With a Conversation Heart Vodka-Infusion of course!  We made several batches and ultimately realized that when infusing these little devils, you need to leave out the purple and green ones, because your vodka will look like swamp water, and that's not very Valentine's Day-ey, now is it?

E-Mail Me???  Who writes this crap???

Now that's clever!

Orange You Glad I'm a Conversation Heart Martini?

Makes 1

3 ounces Conversation Heart-Infused Vodka
2 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

To a cocktail shaker add all ingredients.  Shake vigorously until a frost forms on the outside of the shaker. Gently garnish with a few floating Conversation Hearts.  Warning: Some will sink to the bottom!

Conversation Heart-Infused Vodka

½ cup vodka
¼ cup Conversation Hearts (remembering to take out all the green and purple ones!)

Add Conversation Hearts and vodka to an air-tight container.  Shake and let sit for 1-5 days in a dark place.

It's your Valentine's Day fantasy cocktail!
