Bubble Gum Martini

Bubble gum is one of our favorite things in the whole wide world! So when we made our own Bubble Gum Vodka recently, it sparked a frenzy of bubble gum cocktail making madness! This particular recipe is both SUPER tasty aaaaaaaand SUPER easy!

Bubble Gum Martini

1/4 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup milk
2 ounces Bubble Gum Vodka
Gumballs for garnish
Crystal sprinkles for garnish

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish by dipping rim of glass into water, and then into plate of sprinkles. Heat gumballs for a few seconds in the microwave until they are soft enough to poke and then put them on a skewer!

Flashback Friday: Back to School!

We're taking you back, WAAAAAAY back to the first day of school in 1986! Apparently Katherine was very impressed with her new Pink Panther lunch box and Flannery was rockin' a new 'do- the side pony! Oh, and how about those coordinating outfits? PS: We're pretty sure if you could see our shoes in this picture, they'd be jellys!

Drink This, Wear That

We've spent the last few days in a tequila haze...Hey! That could be the first line of an awesome new cocktail poem!  And who doesn't LOOOOOOVE poetry???  Especially the rhyming kind!!!  Are you listening Dad? But we digress...Tequila haze, yes!  We've been making our own tequila infusions recently and then adding them to all kinds of tasty cocktails (have you tried our Bloody Maria yet?) So today's featured spirit is Kah Tequila because it is, without a doubt, the most stylish tequila bottle around!  And, HELLO!  Did you see these Valentino shoes? Who's ready to bust some baile folklórico moves on the dance floor??? ¡ORALE!

Drink This, Wear That!

Today's post is inspired by all of this crazy talk that we keep hearing about vodka bars in Las Vegas. Rumor has it that they keep them at a cool minus five degrees and provide their patrons with fur coats???  Sign us up! And what would a vodka bar be without our favorite member of the family- vanilla! It is the spirit that we use more often than any other here at Fashionably Bombed headquarters. We even showed you how to make your own here! But if you're not into DIY projects, Absolut Vanilia will do just fine. And frankly, their bottle is a lot prettier than the Mason jar that we keep ours in! На здоровье!

Society Sparkler: A White Peach & Cardamom Bellini

We were so excited when our friend Roxy Te asked us to be a part of the launch of her fabulous new site Society Social!  We whipped up a tasty concoction with white peaches, cardamom and champagne just for the occasion!  So if you're looking to live the Fashionably Bombed lifestyle, these gorgeous bar carts are the perfect accessory!

Aren't they to die for??? And now for the celebratory cocktail...

Society Sparkler

½ large white peach (roughly chopped)
½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1½ tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
Edible gold glitter stars

In a food processor add peach, lemon juice, sugar and cardamom. Blend until smooth. Rim each glass with lemon wedge and then dip into a plate of glitter stars. Next carefully add 2 tablespoons of mixture to each glass and top with champagne. Pour champagne in slowly as not to disturb the beautiful rim! Cheers!
