Bumpkin (Bacon + Pumpkin) Pie-tini

The October cocktail contest on was a fun challenge for us here at Fashionably Bombed! The theme for this month was Pumpkin! So while experimenting with pumpkin in the "cocktail lab" (AKA the kitchen) we got inspired when we saw and smelled the leftover bacon and bacon grease from the morning's breakfast. We chose to use maple syrup as the sweetener because it brings the flavors of the pumpkin and bacon together! Plus, who doesn't love bacon??? Try it, if you dare, and let us know what you think!

Bacon & Pumpkin Pie-tini
Makes 1

2 oz. canned pumpkin
2 ½ oz. half and half
1 ½ oz. bacon-infused vodka
1/3 oz. Original Cinn cinnamon schnapps
2 strips bacon (roughly chopped)
½ oz. maple syrup

Whipped cream
Grated nutmeg
Cinnamon stick

Combine ingredients in blender. Pour into cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into martini glass. Top with whipped cream and grated nutmeg. Garnish with cinnamon stick.
