Welcome to the first episode of Fashionably Bombed! Since we both love Mojitos, especially our gourmet versions, and since it's summer, we thought the Mojito would be perfect for our first series of cocktails! Our friends and family are always raving about our Mojitos and we’re constantly getting requests for our recipes, so now they're here for all to enjoy! We're starting with our Classic Mojito, but more exotic versions are still to come...

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
Tip: If your limes are hard, put them in the microwave for 10 seconds to soften.
Rind of ½ a lime roughly cut into 3-4 pieces
2 tablespoons superfine sugar
10 fresh mint leaves
2-4 tablespoons white rum
Club soda to top off
Combine lime juice, sugar, mint leaves and lime rind in a highball glass. Next muddle ingredients together. If you don’t have a muddler, you can use any flat utensil with a handle, such as a spoon. This process helps to release the natural lime and mint oils when muddling. For extra lime flavor you can also add the zest of 1 lime.
Next add 2-4 tablespoons of white rum (depending on how "Fashionably Bombed" you want to get!) and stir. Add crushed ice and top off with club soda.
Garnish with a mint sprig!
